My name is Rachel Parthemer, and I am raising money for my mother, Tammy. My mom is a social worker who has spent her life working with the elderly, people with disabilities and children. She is also a foster parent and has always worked hard to take care of everyone around her. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago, and after surgeries and months of chemo, the cancer has come back, due to treatment and doctor appointments she will have to resign from her job. We are raising money to help pay for the medical expenses during this very stressful time.
