UPDATE: It is with a very heavy heart that I inform everyone that my beautiful cousin Tammy has left us. She passed from this world on Thursday in the very early hours of the morning with loving family by her side.
Her family is hurting and needs prayer for comfort and understanding. Please also continue to give to this fund that was set up for her and Jimmy if your heart leads you to.
I appreciate so much everyone who has already donated. Your kindness is incredible.

Hi. My name is Diane Thompson and I am Tammy Pruneda Counts’ cousin. Growing up, she was like a sister to me even though we didn’t see each other as much as I wish. She has fought a long hard battle with cancer and has now entered hospice.
As if seeing his beautiful wife fight her battle isn’t enough, her husband Jimmy, while recently at an appointment in San Antonio for a cancer trial she was going to, had his brand new truck stolen while they were inside for her appointment, in addition to cash he brought to pay for some of her doctors bills.
Jimmy has been traveling with Tammy from Fort Davis to San Antonio for her trials once a week for a while so there’s gas, and time away from work and all the expenses they have accumulated getting through this tough time. He’s now traveling back and forth from Fort Davis to Kerrville where Tammy is in hospice so he can continue to work.
First and foremost, we ask for your prayers for Tammy’s comfort and for her family who so love her. Then we ask that if you can contribute to this fund to help offset some of the many expenses that will accumulate upcoming. No amount is too small and they will so appreciate any help given and prayers offered up.
Thank you in advance for your love and support of this family.
