My name is Ken Tapak and I was fortunate enough to be a long time friend of a beautiful person, daughter, mother and wife named Tammy Sagaert. Tammy was my sister's best friend and part of so many people's lives and family. Unfortunately without being able to say good bye, Tammy passed away December 6th leaving behind Brent her husband of 20 years and her two shining star sons Connor 15 and Maverick 11. She was an avid supporter of both Tecumseh Minor Hockey and Essex Minor Hockey, her smile and laughter would fill any arena.
The donations will go towards education funds for both Connor and Maverick when the time comes.
Tammy has been nothing but a bright spot in many, many people's lives. The most important things in her life, Connor and Maverick need to be looked after.
As a parent everyone would want to know that if something happened to you, you would hope the community would come together and your children would be taken care of. For Tammy, no sacrifice would be too much for her boys.
