Hello! I am Tammy from Vaughan, Ontario and won CPU Nationals this year in the junior 47 kg weight class.
I began my powerlifting journey a little over a year ago. Although I wish I had some crazy story as to why I started this journey, I did it because the thought of being better, faster, stronger than I was yesterday motivated me. Powerlifting has quickly become a part of who I am. Now I have the amazing opportunity to compete at the IPF World Championships in Sweden this June but I will need your help! The athletes on Team Canada will have to provide their own funding. This would include plane and train tickets (Toronto to Helsingborg, Sweden), living accomodations, meet fees, team uniform, and food. Any donation matters and would help me out so much.
I feel so lucky to be able to represent Canada at this international event where all the strongest people in the world come to battle it out.
As a thank you, I will be providing the donors with a personalized postcard from Sweden!
