Hey everyone,

My name is Jessica Morgan Barclay and this GoFundMe is for my mother, Tammy Louise Hendrix. On Sunday, August 13th at about 4:30pm, my mother passed away peacefully in the hospital.

She struggled with her health for a long time but ultimately found peace and a painless path forward.

She was a beautiful spirit, kind and compassionate heart full of love with a whole hell of a lot of sassy, firecracker energy! She doted on those around her, always willing to find a way to help others.

She was a thinker, a poet, someone who gave and gave, and was always putting others first.

I was there when she passed and as she took her last breaths I knew she was at ease, at peace. I told her we would all look after everything and each other, her friends, family and loved ones. I told her that her little dog Elijah would continue to be spoiled as always.

Her wishes were always to be cremated and as of right now her sister Leah has paid for those services. (Thank you my beloved aunt)

For the near future we will have unexpected costs such:

Gas for vehicles moving out her things from her place.
Renting out space or reserving space for her celebration of life.
Assisting others to travel to NC for her Celebration of Life if need be.
Other Misc. costs and needs.

I am considering donating a portion of the proceeds from here to a charity based on Mental Health supports when the expenses are paid.

I also encourage people to offer words of support in the form of short poems that may have connected you to my mother. If you didn’t not know her well enough know anything is more than enough.
