Tammy and her neighbors in a tragic time
Hi, my name is Alysia Ramos. I am a resident of New York State, a previous resident in Cape Coral, FL. Wednesday September 28th, 2022 hurricane Ian made a grand entrance in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and surrounding cities before traveling across the remainder of the state; taking all it could in its path, homes, cars, boats, bridges, power lines, etc. One of those people being effected was my own mother, Tammy Ramos. Her and her neighbors are now dealing with the cleanup and aftermath of the hurricane; having to fuel generators, cook on grills as there’s no power to power their stoves, and so much more. Not only are they concerned with how they’re going to rebuild their community, but they’re concerned with how they’ll manage to keep up with the costs of survival without being able to work. With that being said:
I’m currently trying to raise money to help my mother and her neighborhood who are all in need of bare essentials. None are able to work right now as there is still no power and it may be quite some time before it’s restored, so as finances are dwindling, it’s becoming harder and harder to get the things they need (gas for generators, water, food, propane for grills, diapers and wipes, medications, etc). I’m asking all to help by donating, even $1, as these people need all the help they can get in such a tragic time. We all thank you so much in advance!
