Tammy Albrecht's Medical Journey

On 1/31/2023, our lives forever changed. Our mom, Tammy Albrecht, was in a car accident that resulted in a broken neck and a spinal cord injury. As of now, she is paralyzed from the chest down. Currently, we are in Atlanta at the Shepherd Center for her recovery. Earlier today, we had a medical conference to learn more about her injury, what to expect, and how life will be (depending on her progress) when we get home. We are SO blessed that she has insurance but unfortunately, that only covers so much. Insurance will not cover her shower needs, remodeling her house to accommodate her new needs, or a van to transport her. Also, she has her insurance deductible to meet and out-of-pocket expenses that are not covered by insurance.

Our mom is the most hard-working, giving, and selfless woman and we just want to make sure she has everything she needs to function properly when she returns home.
