Hi, my name is Betsey Matharu, and I was shocked to read that Tammie had a massive heart attack on 6/5/23.

Tammie and I have known each other since 2006 when she was my oldest son's preschool teacher and my youngest son's teacher a few years later. She's been teaching kids for more than 20 years, impacting hundreds of kids' lives! Both of my kids still remember being in her room with great fondness. She and I became fast friends, enjoying lunches and conversations in San Francisco. I love her to pieces, and she's like a sister to me.

After a big life-saving surgery that same day, Tammie is doing better. She had three stents put in during emergency surgery.

Now she has the medical bills and medicine to worry about. She has a considerable co-pay ($5000) for her surgery and hospital stay and needs life-saving medicine for a few months. Also, she will be unable to work for some time.
