LET'S SEND TAME TO TONGA!

This last year has been a troubling time for my friend Tame (Tommy) and the Tapaatoutai family.   With the quick decline in Tame Sr's health (liver cancer) which lead to his passing in October, the family has continues on. 

If you know my friend Tame Jr. than you know that he has a heart large enough to love everyone whom he meets.  The day I met him was the first day of a bond unlike any other I've had.  When I met his father Tame Sr., I immediately recognized that he was equally a kind and loving person. So, why the GoFundMe? 

There is some unfinished business the family needs to attend to in Tonga.  Tame Jr, the eldest of his 3 children, has assumed the responsibility of finishing the tasks his father started.  In order to do that, he needs to be there in person, within a year of his fathers passing.

I found out that Tame has an Aunt (his father's older sister) Sesika in New Zealand, whom he has never met in person.  If you know the Polynesian culture, than you may be saying "isn't EVERYONE an Aunt?"  Yes, and Sesika is legitimately Tame Sr. older sister - Tame Jr. REAL Aunt! 

Tame Jr. and Sesika would be THRILLED to take some time together during his travels.

As fun as this trip will be, please understand that this truely is Family Business that must be completed before the 1 year anniversary of his father's passing.  

Tame is a hard worker and has been dedicated to the students and faculty of Mountain View High School for the last 15 years!  His only window of opportunity is during the Summer months while school is out.
