This is for my Niece, Tameka.  For the last 6, almost 7 years, she has been incarcerated.  I will not go into the details of that, it was non-violent and she has served her time.  During this difficult time, she owned up to her responsibility in her plight, always with kept a positive attitude and hopeful attitude.  Educating herself, improving herself,  working 2 jobs,  regularly attending religious services and being a mentor to the other ladies around her.  I am completely impressed with her growth.

All my Niece wants upon release is to get a job, somewhere to live and raise her young Son, who basically grew up these last 6 years without her.  He is now 8 years old. 

I want to assist to make her wish come true.  I would like to provide for her a "soft landing".  I do not want her to be stressed out or unduly pressured upon her release.  She will have to buy everything again as all of her personal belongings are gone.  She had NO ONE to support her during this difficult time.  Primarily because she hates to ask anyone for anything.  But I was there with here every step of the way.   Because I knew my beloved Mother would want me to be.  I love this little girl.  She is my beloved Mom's 1st GrandChild.  & She is like a little Sister to me, as we are only 4 years apart.

I believe in 2nd chances and if anyone deserves that chance, it is my Niece.  She has learned and grown so much, I am so proud of her and am super excited about her upcoming release date!

If you can find it in your heart to donate something, anything to assist her once she comes home, I am sure she would greatly appreciate it!
