When CASLV Tamarus started this team in September, we had no idea we would make it to even more than 1 competition. Little did we know, this team of unique students would persevere through 3 competitions and make it to the State Championship! Our Robotics Team, The FalconBots led by Mrs. Fogg, competed last weekend and achieved a great feat considering it was our FIRST YEAR being a competitive team! We placed 4th in teamwork, 9th in skills, and won the Sportsmanship Award! Our ranking in skills has led to an invitation to the VEX Robotics World Championship to be held in Dallas, TX May 2-4.

As you can imagine, this is a very exciting but expensive opportunity. The students have worked so incredibly hard and we would like to make sure they can accept this invitation and travel to Dallas for the competition. To allow them to go, we need your support! Our goal of $16,000 will help cover the travel, hotel, and food expenses for our 11 robotics team members and sponsoring school staff.
