Baby Elliot and Tamara Ward

For those of you that don’t know Tamara, she is selfless, loving, caring and for years she has dreamed of nothing more than being a mother. She has played the role of “best auntie in the world” to her nieces and nephews but she now has finally been blessed with what I’d like to call, her miracle baby. She is almost 28 weeks. Tamara and Frisco are beyond excited to still have the chance to meet baby Elliot (when he is ready), especially when last night on Friday, February 29th Tamara and baby Elliot (still inside mommy’s belly) were struck by a car outside her home as a pedestrian on Snelling Ave. Tamara was left out in the street while the driver of the car fled the scene and has yet to be found. Today she is in the hospital. She broke her leg in 3 places and they have put a pin in and possibly still a plate, she has facial injuries, a crushed nose, a fracture under her eye, and a fractured cheek. Tamara has a long road to recovery, she starts physical therapy and occupational therapy right away and she won’t be able to return to work for quite some time. Unfortunately on top of already going on maternity leave in May for her baby and only getting 50% of her wages then, she has to be out of work NOW and this causes a major financial hardship for her, Frisco, and the baby. Not only will they have a new baby to feed, love and support but they now will have outstanding medical bills, therapy bills, and the emotional damage that’s been done can not be changed. We ask that those of you who have it in your heart to and could please donate. Even if it’s the smallest amount, and if you can’t please pray that this nightmare ends with the person that caused this tragic accident in custody and mama and baby stay safe from now on.
