Tamara needs our love and support today!

Hello friends and family. It has been a very rough year. Little did I know, it would be life changing for a lot of us. Perhaps the most difficult year I have ever experienced between my own family and friends. I’m quickly realizing  Our own technology, foods, addiction, and mental capacities have either taken lives, or they are fighting for their own.

One of my Mom and I’s closest friends, Tamara, was accidentally shot in her leg in Alaska, at point blank range by an AK-47. She is extremely lucky to be alive and for that we are so grateful. She is nowhere close to out of the woods and has already had 6 surgeries to include losing the loss of one of her legs.

Tamara has always been an inspiration to me. Someone who took chances to move to Alaska on her own, after a random girls trip in 1997. Despite what has happened now, she is a park ranger, has helped with wild animal rehabilitation, and has been of service to her community since she took that risk of moving to one of the most uninhabited places in the United States. Honestly, one of the strongest women I know. I should’ve known that, being she had been a part of my Moms tribe since I was a little girl.

So today, her and my Mom fight for their life together! She is going to need our help! She has nine sick days left at the park that she works at, and many months of recovery, before she can even consider returning to normalcy in her life.

Please know, anything will help her, even if it’s a small amount. I have not set this donation in my name, and will go strictly to her for unanticipated costs that once again, insurance won’t cover. She is going to need a prosthetic and many other things that still come out of pocket because insurance as we know only allows to cover so much of.

I appreciate everyones assistance at this time, and I know with your help we can make a difference. Please send your prayers, love and light, and if you can’t afford to donate, please share this post as far as it can go! Tamara is an important member of our family and we love her dearly! Thank you for taking the time to read and share! God bless!
