Honoring the Life of My Mother , Tamara Alford

Hi, my name is Tamiya, and I’m fundraising to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses for my beloved mother, Tamiya Virgil Alford , who recently passed away.

My mom was truly one of a kind — strong, loving, and full of life. She had a laugh that could fill a room and a heart big enough to make everyone feel seen and loved. Growing up, she faced more than her share of challenges, but no matter what life threw her way, she never stopped showing up for her family and the people she loved.

Losing her has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face. I want to give her the beautiful, peaceful farewell she deserves — one that reflects the love and light she gave to everyone around her. Unfortunately, the costs of funeral arrangements are higher than I can manage on my own, so I’m asking for help from anyone willing to support.

All funds will go directly toward:

• Funeral and burial expenses

• Flowers, programs, and memorial service costs

• Any remaining balance will go toward preserving her memory for my family and her grandchild, who loved her deeply.
