Talyn Songdog was an amazing human being, who worked hard every day of his life to create a legacy of love, connection and laughter. He is survived not only by a family who adored him, but a community who knew him that spanned the world.

Unfortunately, his passing was so unexpected that it left us not only emotionally unprepared, but financially as well. As we scrabble to find resources and connections, which have been freely forthcoming from friends and family, we are also in need of financial assistance to help offset the costs of Talyn's funeral and memorial expenses.

We will be having a small memorial, due to both the need for expediency (it is a green burial) and the unfortunate reality of living in the time of Covid. He was very adamant that his funeral not cause a Super-spreader event.

But Talyn Songdog was a man who enjoyed a party and wanted his death to not be a time of misery, but an excuse for celebration. He often mentioned in candid moments that he wanted his life to be celebrated as a festival, with joy, laughter, and a little mischief!

To this end we hope that we might raise enough money to hold a larger memorial celebration within the next year or so. The money raised here will go towards his funeral expenses, the immediate needs of the family, and the larger memorial we hope to throw in the future.
