As all of you are aware of the COVID situation in India, there are several ways we can help out from here.  The situation in small towns is
devastating as there are not enough resources that can reach directly to the affected patients/people. 

Dr. Amulya Konda, Bindu Janapati and Preethi Balireddy from Tallahassee, Florida are organizing a fundraising for families and patients.
We reached out to several sources, to identify an avenue, where donations can directly go to the people in need, especially the rural
areas. 

Finally, we were able to get in touch with Dr. Vinay Kumar (Professor and HOD in CAIMS, and Surya Chest Hospital, Karimnagar) and
the funds will be also used at other visiting hospitals like MEDCARE, Kamakshi hospital (COVID hospital run by Dr. Manoj). 

We are trying to reach out to as many friends/families as possible. It is going to be a small effort to help in the dire and huge crisis India
is facing. Our initial goal of $10k is just a drop in the ocean given the current situation. The goal will be evolving and changing as we
continue to assess the needs. We will be in constant touch with Dr. Vinay and try to keep this page updated as and when we receive
information from Karimnagar.

Karimnagar, Telangana without involvement of any third party to meet various needs as outlined below:

 
1.      Provide medicines to COVID affected patients.

2.      Provide Pulse Oximeter to patients to monitor at home.

3.      Ambulance charges.

4.       H.R.C.T Scan.

5.       Blood Tests.

6.       Home Oxygen.

7.       Meals

8.       Cremation/funeral activities

The average costs for all the above mentioned services would be $380 per person. Below is the breakdown of expenses per
