Tall Timbers Park - Playground Renovation
Donation protected
Administrators of the Heber-Overgaard Side-by-Side (H-O SxS) riders group have pledged their assistance to the local Chamber of Commerce (CoC) in meeting the fundraising goals necessary to renovate the aging Tall Timbers Park Playground. The CoC estimates the necessary funds needed for playground renovations to be $7,000. As such, our organized rides during the summer of 2021 will focus on raising the necessary funds to meet this goal.

As a "thank you" from the H-O CoC, H-O SxS members will participate in the annual H-O 4th of July parade, as a group, at no additional cost upon hitting $3,500 of this goal. If we are able to raise $7,000 or more for renovations, H-O CoC has expressed that the playground will be dedicated to the members of H-O SxS.
While we hope to achieve this modest goal in short order, fundraising efforts by H-O SxS will ultimately conclude no later than May 20th, 2021 (DEADLINE UPDATED PER GFM - ALL FUNDS RETURNED TO DONORS IF GOAL NOT MET). The sooner we hit our goal, the sooner the kids get their new playground!! Upon reaching our goal, an H-O SxS meetup will be coordinated for group presentation of all funds to the CoC.
The members of the H-O SxS group share a common love for the H-O community and the surrounding lands our machines enable us to explore. It takes one individual on an ATV/UTV to speed through a neighborhood, drive off of a designated road or leave their trash along a trail to ruin it for everyone else. On that note, our expectation of all H-O SxS members is very simple - show respect to the lands and trails we utilize at all times. The hope of our fellow members is that you will join this effort in establishing a reputation of community respect and generosity by all SxS owners of H-O.
This is an awesome opportunity to utilize our network of "big boy toys" to give back to the kids within our community. The admins of H-O SxS have initiated this effort with a pledge of $250 each. While we understand 100% member participation is unlikely, every dollar counts, even the smallest of contributions. We thank you for reading this far and hope each of you will consider participating in this effort and sharing with any others willing to help meet this goal.
We look forward to see you all on the trails in the coming months. Until then - keep the rubber side down and ride safe!!
