Talk Show SXSW 2024 Fundraiser

Hello we are Talk Show and we are raising funds for SXSW festival in Texas. It will come as no surprise that it is an incredibly expensive endeavour for a small band like us to get to Texas. That is why we're asking for your help.

As you may have heard, we’re on the verge of releasing our debut album 'Effigy' after 6 years in the making. Given that SXSW is a couple of weeks post release and fits nicely in the middle of our tour (almost as if it was planned?) we think It’s a pretty well-timed opportunity to take our new album over to America. This would be a total dream come true for us, and genuinely something we have aimed for since the early days of forming the band.

Aside from fulfilling our hopes and dreams, SXSW could really help us reach some key goals of ours in 2024. It would massively contribute to promoting our new album by connecting us with promoters, agents and artists, as well as helping us to grow our fan base across the pond. While we’re there we'd be playing shows everyday across multiple venues to increase our exposure and make the absolute most of the opportunity. With your help, we believe playing at SXSW could have a significant impact on keeping us moving forward.

We know times are tough and we would be incredibly grateful for any contribution from those who are in a position to help us raise these funds.

10 x Signed SXSW Setlist - £25

We will be signing and bringing back any non ruined/already stolen setlists from SXSW with the hope they can help us get there. There will be photographic/video evidence of us signing and numbering the setlists immediately after the show to prove we've not been fraudulent.

10 x Signed copy of our debut album 'Effigy' - £35

You will receive the first dispatched copies of our debut album 'Effigy' when it is released in February 2024. These copies will be signed by each of the band members.

1 x Rarified 'Effigy' Album Test pressing - £75

Get your hands on a test pressing of our album, only 1 of 4 we were sent which means you'll be getting one of our copies.

30 x A2 Signed Limited Edition SXSW Cowboy Poster - £40

Designed by our good friend Limited Output aka Graeme Chapman aka Chappy. We wanted to offer something specific and dedicated to the cause, so we commissioned these super cool Lone Star State-inspired posters. (image is annoyingly cropped, head to our socials to see the full landscape version!).

2 x A2 Framed & Signed Tour Poster EU '22 - £75

5 of these were printed for each of us and our manager however they were each too lazy to collect them from me so I've listed them on here to go towards the great cause of getting us to the US. They will be signed and framed and posted to you inside extraordinary amounts of bubble wrap.

2 x Talk Show Silver Signet Ring - £125

We are having custom made solid silver signet rings made by our good friend Beth at Hathaura Jewellery. These are extremely limited edition and this will be the only opportunity to get hold of one of them. Images to come once the prototype has been made.

4 x Home Talk Show Performance (London only)- £500

That's right, if you pledge this amount we will come to your house (or a location of your choice) and play a full live set. Harrison toplessness included at no extra cost.

The location says London but we can travel to you, we'd just need to work out a convenient date.
