Hi, if we're friends you already know my big news! I finally have an apartment to move into! That's the great news! The less than stellar news however is that I already had to pay rent at my old place this month, so that I have access to move my stuff out. Then yesterday I paid a surety bond, and my prorated rent for the new place (only minus 5 days, so it was nearly a full month's rent).

So all of that leaves me with a big zero for a moving service. Due to my chronic pain, mobility issues, and how easily my back and knees go completely out if I overexert myself, I really can't move anything heavy by myself. I am definitely at least going to need one of those two guys with a truck outfits, or a small moving company.

My place is a studio, so I also have to move some things to a storage unit so I can get out of my current place faster. I will need to just get my necessities moved to the apartment, and the rest to storage where I can sort and downsize afterwards. I'd rather do it at storage than be stuck here longer sorting through things, and having to pay rent at two places to do so.

So, all that boring business out of the way, if you can help, great! If not, also fine. Things are economically disastrous right now for so many. I know some of my friends are among those hurting, and I want everyone to take care of themselves first!
