Talia Gladu’s Recovery

Hi, my name is Landa Lalonde, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a brave and incredible 12-year old girl, Talia Gladu. Recently, Talia’s life was turned upside down when she suffered a rare spinal cord stroke, leaving her and her family facing immense physical, emotional and financial challenges.

Talia is an energetic, kind and bright girl who loves Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball amongst so many other things. Since the stroke, Talia has faced significant mobility challenges and requires extensive medical care including physical therapy, occupational therapy and extensive rehabilitation. While Talia’s determination and courage inspires us every single day, the road to recovery will be long and demanding.

Talia’s family is doing everything they can to support her, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Medical bills, therapy sessions, potential specialized equipment and potential home modifications are just some of the costs they are facing. This is why we humbly ask for your help.
