Hello! My name is Matthew Pelton and I am the director of the 2021 comedic student short film, "Riverfork Community College". Riverfork will always hold a special place in my heart, seeing as how it was the first short film I ever created. We had no script, no shotlist, and barely any cast and crew, but through our undying passion for filmmaking and willpower, we someone pulled together a short film I'm incredibly proud of. As I'm going into my last semester of college, I've been thinking back on my four years at Emerson and my journey thus-far as a filmmaker. I realized I wanted to end my journey where it all began... at Riverfork. That's why we're so happy to introduce "Tales From Riverfork Community College".
"Tales From Riverfork Community College" is an anthology mini-series, highlighting five unique stories from the campus of Riverfork and narrated by our favorite Dean, Dean Patrick Myaz. We got five amazing Comedic Arts majors to write our episodes, and we have already begun pre-production on all five episodes.
"Tales From Riverfork Community College" is going to be an incredibly ambitious project, so we can use all the help we can get! Every contribution, regardless of how small, will significantly help us cover essential expenses such as equipment, location fees, cast and crew expenses, and other necessities crucial to the production of this film. Through this GoFundMe campaign, we’re hoping to raise $3000. Your contribution will be an incredible help in us bringing this mini-series to life!
If you're unable to contribute financially, we would be incredibly grateful if you could share this campaign with your friends and family. Every little bit helps and we are confident that, with your support, we can make "Tales From Riverfork Community College" a reality.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Let's make “Tales From Riverfork Community College " a reality together!
Sincerely,
Matthew Pelton + The Entire Cast & Crew
