Disabled Actor needs help to set up their Home Studio
Donation protected
Elly Valentine is a fantastically talented voice actor who is desperate to be able to start a career, voice acting from his home. In order to do this they need a full upgrade on recording equipment and a portable home sound booth studio.
As talented as Elly is, they are also debilitated by several co-morbid disabilities including but not limited to a severe post-surgical injury from 2020.
As you can imagine these difficulties have curtailed their ability to build their life and earn money in the same way as their peers, and so he is in the position of having a great talent and desire to use it with no means to get himself there.
Your help in this venture is incredibly important and will make the world of difference for Elly.
Below is a message from Elly:
"Hello. My name is Elly Valentine. I'm a young voice actor, currently working at a hobby level, hoping to start working professionally.
The current biggest hurdle for people wanting to Voice Act professionally is equipment. Without professional level gear, getting paid work is a thousand times more difficult.
As it stands, I have one place I can record at, and after the summer I will no longer have access to it. Leaving me completely out of options.
Currently, everyone in my household who could work is disabled to the point where maintaining jobs is a huge undertaking - and nigh impossible for some.
Getting a high quality recording booth set up in my home will do wonders for not just me, but the people in my family who I'll be able to support better.
To the family, friends, fellow voice actors, and generous strangers who see this - thank you for your time. Even just listening to me means so much more than you would think."
