Hello! My name is Beau Dähler and I'm an industrial designer and photographer with extensive training and design experience, as well as international recognition and awards in photojournalism.
I am thrilled to announce my acceptance into the world-class Masterstudio Industrial Design MA program at the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW in Basel, Switzerland. With a focus on sustainability, this is one of the top masters in design programs in the world and accepts only 7 students per year. This advanced program would open innumerable professional and artistic opportunities to implement thought and design leadership in global sustainability efforts.
With your support, I'll be able to seize this life-changing educational and professional opportunity. I must raise 21,000 CHF ($25,000 USD) for tuition and living expenses in Switzerland for my first year. This is a small fraction of the cost of a comparable education in the US.
My work has been featured in BROAD Magazine and has been exhibited in art galleries in London, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. They have been published in cover stories for nationally renowned environmental publications, including MAD Agriculture and Protect Our Winters , and I've been awarded artist residencies throughout the US. In addition to my extensive photography experience, I have worked as a graphic designer for print and web applications for over five years.
I achieved a BFA in industrial design with honors on a Presidential Scholarship from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and earned the Studio Distinction Achievement Award.
I appreciate your support immensely! Thank you for helping me seize this incredible opportunity!
