Help Lachie take on the cycling world in 2025!

I’m a teenager living in Bright, Victoria with a love of all thing’s bikes and speed and I am seeking funding/sponsorship to compete in Europe at an international level in July 2025. Living in regional Victoria I spend a lot of time travelling to Melbourne as much of my training and racing is done in the velodrome at Darebin, (thanks to my grandparents for letting me stay at their house!)

Growing up in the cycling culture of North East Victoria has exposed me to many inspiring characters. While I have many diverse mentors, I have also found myself as a role model within our cycling club and community. I hope my cycling journey will inspire them to aim high and chase their dreams.

I am a proud 7 time National Champion across multiple cycling disciplines (Road, Track & Gravel). My ambition is to become a pro road cyclist. As an Australian this involves racing, traveling and possibly living in Europe. The first step is to go and race in Belgium and the Netherlands, as their races and tours are regarded as the biggest and best in Europe, if not the world. Many scouts from professional teams closely watch these Under 17 events to sign young riders for the following year.

With your help I would love to race a 5 week period in July/ August 2025 at an international racing camp. Competing in the Tour de junior Achterveld 21st-26th of July in the Netherlands and the Tour of Assen 27th to the 1st of August. The Tour Assen is the one of the biggest junior tours in the world for Under 17 riders. These camps help support international riders with the logistics of living and racing in a foreign country as a junior.

As the Under 17 Australian National Champion, it’s time to take on the world’s best juniors!
