On the 30th of May, I’ll be pushing myself through the challenge of HYROX Cardiff – a test of strength, endurance, and determination – to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This isn’t just a fitness challenge for me. It’s personal.

Skin cancer has affected multiple members of my family, including my Grandad, Auntie and Mum. With our fair skin, we’ve sadly seen how common and serious this illness can be. Watching loved ones go through diagnosis and treatment has been tough, but it’s also shown me just how important support, awareness, and early intervention really are.

Macmillan do incredible work supporting individuals and families during their most difficult moments. That’s why I’m raising money in their name – to give something back, raise awareness of skin cancer, and honour those closest to me who’ve been affected.
