Dare to Dream: Help Pamela Blackmon Represent Maryland at Miss for America Strong Nationals — and Beyond

Hello friends, family, and supporters,

My name is Pamela Blackmon, and I am humbled and proud to be your reigning Miss Maryland for America Strong 2025 and Miss Baltimore for America 2025.

Carrying this crown is not just a title — it’s a mission. It’s a calling. It’s about standing in the gap for our community, inspiring others to Dare to Dream, and amplifying the voices of those who feel unseen, unheard, and unloved.

Every day, through my platform Not Just Mental Health™, I advocate for mental wellness, suicide prevention, grief and loss support, and empowering women and families. I’ve lived this work — not just on a stage, but in the quiet moments holding a grieving mother’s hand, mentoring foster youth who feel forgotten, and walking alongside our veterans through their darkest hours.

As the co-founder of Vets Serving Vets, I’ve worked to combat suicide in our veteran community, to remind those who’ve served that they still have purpose, still have hope, and are never truly alone. And through my grief and loss initiative Blake’s Promise, named in honor of a life gone too soon, I bring awareness, compassion, and resources to families who’ve experienced unimaginable pain.

This crown is not mine alone. It belongs to every child I’ve fostered in my 12+ years as a foster parent. It belongs to every woman who needed someone to believe in her. It belongs to our veterans, our mothers, our daughters, our neighbors — and to you.

Now, as I prepare to represent Maryland on the national stage at the Miss for America Strong Pageant in Las Vegas this August, I’m asking you to join me on this journey.

Why I Need Your Help

The path to nationals requires months of preparation — and comes with significant out-of-pocket costs. These include:

- Wardrobe and evening gowns

- Photo shoots and professional headshots

- Hair, makeup, and styling for appearances

- Registration and pageant fees

- Travel and hotel accommodations in Las Vegas

- Transportation to state and national appearances

- Community appearances, parades, conventions, and women’s events where I carry Maryland’s name with pride.

Where Your Support Goes

Your donation is more than helping me step on stage — it’s an investment in my mission to leave the world better than I found it.

A portion of all funds raised will also go to my nonprofit grief and loss initiative, Blake’s Promise, to continue supporting families in their healing journey.
