Taking a swing and putting for the cause!

Kristine Tejeda has stage 4 fatty liver disease and cirrhosis of the liver. She sadly was denied being placed on a donor list. Kristine has 2 kids, ages 15 and 19 that will be left without of mother if she does not receive a transplant. Due to her health declining so quickly she is no longer able to work. Medical bills and cost of living for her and her children is getting really hard to maintain. As of a few days ago Kristine started hospice at home and we are doing everything we can to keep her comfortable and stable in hopes of a transplant. I am organizing a fundraiser to help the family as much as I can so my friend can continue to focus on her health and not her finances. At the end of this month Kristine will probably be facing eviction. Kristine’s wishes are to peacefully go at home surrounded by family if she doesn’t pull through. I am trying to do everything I can to see that my friend of 20 years gets that wish. The hope is that she pulls through but the reality is far more scary to all of us!
