Help Us Take Valley to Israel

Hello everyone, my name Is Omer Backley-Astrachan and I am an Israeli choreographer residing in Sydney, Australia.

About The Project:

My latest and biggest creation to date is called Valley.
Valley is a full length dance work that presents a diverse and exciting cast of Australian professional dancers.

The work was created over a period of over a year with the help of some of the best of Australian artists including Kay Armstrong, Timothy Constable and Karren Norris.

I am thrilled to be invited to premier Valley in the internationally renowned Summer Dance Festival in the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv on the 16th of July 2017.

What Does this Mean?

Performing in Summer Dance Festival is an amazing opportunity to bring new Israeli-Australian dance to international audiences, extend the outreach of the work and establish partnerships and networks for future opportunities. This tour could have an incredible impact on all involved.

Why Do We Need Your Help?

Flight tickets.

The costs of airfare to and from Israel are very expensive. This project is run without financial support and is made possible thanks to a lot of in-kind support from a number of people and organizations that stand behind our goals.

5,000 Aus dollars aren't covering the entire sum of the flight tickets let alone production costs, accommodation and technical requirments BUT it can be a HUGE help.

So please help us take this beautiful dance work to Summer Dance Festival.

Thank you and hope that you could join us in the premier of Valley on the 16th of July 2017.

With thanks
Omer Backley-Astrachan and the Valley team.
