Take Tito Dinky home, To the place where he belong

Bernardo Abellar JR. was an  as Tol, Kuya, and Bro to his siblings and cousins; Gob, Kapitan, Daddy O, Popsie, Santa Clause to the many people whose lives he has touched; but for us his nieces and nephews he will always be remembered as our Tito Dinky. Tito Dinky was an amazing uncle who never fails to make us smile and brighten our days with his contagious laugh. He always made sure that we were taken care of and well fed. Tito Dinky was the type of uncle that would give us everything he had, even if it meant he left none for himself. He was selfless that way. He gave so much of himself to everyone around him even when it took a toll on his physical health. On December 20, 2019 he went to the hospital for an involuntary open heart surgery. We all hoped and prayed that he would pull through and recover and our lives would once again be filled with his laughter. We were hopeful that he will recover however he had a tough time and spent weeks in the ICU. He suffered two cardiac arrests in one day but put up a fight and was still able to hold on. A few days after the incident he showed small signs of recovery. His eyes lit up whenever he heard “Take Me Home” by John Denver. He was even able to facetime family but sadly he continued to suffer post surgery complications and on January 14, 2020 at 8:46 pm Tito Dinky left us. Tito Dinky is such a giving and selfless man who always thought of the needs of others even though he doesn't have much. He loved serving and giving to his loved ones and spent so much of his life taking care of those around him. In return our family and I want to grant his last wish, which to go back home to the Philippines. Our goal is to be able to get fund to fly his body to the Philippines and also to help with his funeral services. We graciously ask you for your help to make his wish come true.
