Take Two - short movie

For the accountant Gerald, the realization of having to spend his birthday alone for another year shifts his life from the usual gray drabness to a black void that follows him throughout the day.

Fed up with it all he makes a dramatic decision: a nightcap of scotch, a handful of sleeping pills, and a hope that he won’t see the morning.

Does that work?

Of course not.

That would be depressing.

Instead, Gerald wakes up to a world that’s different. Everything looks brighter, more vibrant and also… bizarre. In this world nothing really matters anymore. And it’s beautiful.
