Take The NonRoutineMachines to VEX Worlds!

Hi, my name is Faraz Ahmad, and a member of “The NonRoutineMachines” based in Elstree, London UK.

This season, we have double qualified to represent the United Kingdom in the prestigious annual VEX Robotics World Championship but desperately need help to fund this amazing opportunity!

The championship will feature 800 teams from over 50 countries and is the largest Competitive Robotics Competition in the World. This year marks “The NonRoutineMachines” last game, and after 4 years of similarly incredible seasons, we will be grateful for any help the community can provide for us to go out on a bang by allowing us to compete in the International Finals!

After being halted at the UK National Finals multiple times in the past and as a group of four 15 to 16 year-olds in a National Competition, we did not have high hopes this season. But through some incredible perseverance and hard work, this year we dominated in the UK, qualifying through regional and national rounds to rank 4th in UK Skills. Alongside, we won the UK “Think” Award for the best National Autonomous Programming, utilising unique odometry-based coding solutions. We are no doubt proud of our achievements and very excited for what the future holds!

In addition, we secured Tournament Champions and Robot Skills awards earlier in the season and were subsequently personally invited to the International US Open. As a whole throughout this year, we have illustrated a very holistic professional approach to the design process, organisation, teamwork, driver/autonomous skills and much more. With many years of experience behind us, we have dedicated countless hours to researching, building, programming, and iterating in pursuit of greatness.

This year has been unbelievable, and this opportunity to compete at such a high level would be truly incredible, so feel free to support our journey!

The money raised will support the team by covering flights, hotel, transportation, competition registration, supplies, and more.

We are also opening our team up to sponsors, and will happily promote suitable companies on our robots, controllers, team hoodies, and other branding materials to the viewership of ten's of thousands of team members, supporters, international press and television viewers, and industry leaders such as Google, MathWorks, Autodesk, Tesla, and Dell at both a national and international level of the competition.
