Send SVT's Competition Team to the Pan Am Games

Hello, my name is Rachael Putman, and I am a long-time student of Savannah Ving Tsun Martial Arts Academy. SVT has a rich history here in Savannah GA for teaching kids and adults, touching lives and helping students reach their full potential through the vehicle of Wing Chun Kung Fu for over 15 years. Here at SVT we pride ourselves on our commitment to personal excellence and our close-knit family atmosphere.

In May of this year, a small competition team embarked from Savannah to the National Team Trials in Lubbock, TX to compete for the chance to join Team USA in the Pan American Games in Toronto this August. Competing on a national level is difficult, and not everyone who competes will be able to qualify. Therefore, it makes it that much more impressive that all 7 of Savannah's competitors were able to qualify to join Team USA.

Since then our students have been training diligently to improve their skills. We are so proud of them for all of the hard work they put in and their continued hard work as they train for the upcoming Pan American Games. This is a historic event for Shaolin Wing Chun Kung Fu to be showcased in its own event on the international stage and a great opportunity for our students that will doubtless leave lasting memories.

We ask that you please consider donating to help the team cover the cost of travel and hotel as well as other miscellaneous expenses. This is an incomparable opportunity for our students to test their skills against the best of the best.
