My dad needs heart surgery now.
Here is how you can help him get it.
A family history of heart disease has left my dad, the exclusive breadwinner for the household, in need of surgical intervention early in life. More specifically, a second quintuple bypass surgery.
Here is what you need to know:
-My dad had his first bypass surgery in 2008 when he was only 44 years old.
-The disease is so agressive, he needs a second surgery only 10 years later at the age of 54.
-Because a second bypass surgery is an uncommon and more risky procedure, traveling to the Cleveland Clinic is his best chance to receive quality care.
-He learned the first time around the emotional and financial toll a major procedure can have on a family.
-You can allow Dale to focus on healing, and not on the financial burden of medical costs, travel for surgery, and 3 months of time away from work by making a gift now.
The words of love and support from people who already know just how big my dad's heart is have been absolutely invaluable to our family. He will be arriving at the Cleveland Clinic for testing on March 26th and will undergo the procedure on March 28th. Prayers and positive energy on that day from those who love him are as appreciated as any gift.
