Hi, my name is Joy. My mam passed away on the 21/09/25 in her own home. I woke up that morning found my mother lying in the kitchen and unresponsive, after all effort, nothing could have been to save my mam.

My mam was loving, caring and a respectable women. She is originally from South Africa, came to England as the queen was asking for nurses. My mam worked in the UK as a nurse until the very end.

My mam died unexpected and very sudden. We as a family are devastated beyond words and our wish is my mam to go home and be buried in her home soil with our Joy (my cousin) and her family, but as you can imagine that it is very expensive .

I've set up this GoFundme account to try and raise money to get my mam back home to give her the best send off. Any contribution however little will be highly appreciated.
