Help Me Take Married in Mocha to the Next Level with SEED SPOT Impact Accelerator!

Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well! As many of you know, in October of 2023, I took a huge leap of faith and launched my small business, Married in Mocha. It's been an incredible journey filled with joy, energy, and learning every step of the way.

One of the highlights of this journey was hosting the first-of-its-kind wedding expo, that not only showcased the incredible entrepreneurial spirit throughout Arizona but also addressed crucial issues of inclusivity and accessibility in the wedding industry. I am working to decolonize the wedding industry by promoting racial equity and justice through community. One way I've done this is by implementing an equity-based vendor fee and ensured that our expo was a platform for diverse voices, with 100% of our vendors identifying as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, People of Color, Veterans, disabled, neurodivergent, nonbinary and LGBTQIA+.

The impact of the expo was profound, with over 230 couples and their guests in attendance. We even had couples share with us how our event inspired them and rekindled their excitement for wedding planning. Our efforts were recognized by Nick Ciletti from ABC 15 , further amplifying our message of inclusivity and celebration.

But the journey doesn't stop there. As a new small business owner, I've been fortunate enough to be accepted into the 2024 Impact Accelerator program with SEED SPOT , a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could take Married in Mocha to new heights. It was an incredibly competitive process and I am one of 12 business owners selected! This program is designed for innovators and problem solvers like myself, who are using entrepreneurship to tackle real-world challenges.

I'm thrilled to have been awarded a scholarship for this program, but I still need to raise $1,349 to cover additional expenses and some travel. Your support will not only help me attend workshops led by industry experts but I will also receive direct mentorship from the National Mentor Network and the SEED SPOT team, participate in investor-led business and pitch coaching, access professional services from content experts, and network with other impact-driven entrepreneurs and ecosystem members.

Furthermore, I'm in the running to pitch my business at an international conference in Las Vegas, an experience that could be truly life-changing. Your donation will help me seize this opportunity and continue making a positive impact in our community.
