We are FRC 4729 - EMU Robotics, a Sydney based team competing in FIRST Robotics since 2012. For the first time in our team’s history, we have the incredible opportunity to travel internationally and compete in New York City!

However, with less than a month until the competition and significant costs in airfare, accommodation and food, we face major obstacles. That's why we need your support to make this one-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible for students on our team!

EMU Robotics is a team of 20 passionate high-school students from all backgrounds, ethnicities and genders, focused on empowering students from across the globe. United by a love for STEM, we compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition, working together to design, build and program industrial scale robots, while developing skills in teamwork, communication and engineering.

Beyond the competition, EMU is committed to community impact. From our backyard in Sydney to the rural deserts of Mongolia, we strive to extend STEM opportunities to underprivileged communities. Through initiatives such as EMU2Orbit, our mission goes beyond building robots, we develop potential.

With only financial barriers standing between our students and the life‑changing experience of competing at an international event, donations from this fundraiser will directly contribute to:

Food Costs: $5,400

Your donation ensures every student has the chance to participate regardless of their financial situation. Keeping our mission accessible, as for many of our students, this will be their first time travelling overseas to compete on an international level.

Competing at the NYC Regional also brings us one step closer to our long‑term goal: qualifying for the FRC World Championship, the most prestigious robotics event. Your support does not only fund a trip, it is an investment in the next generation of future engineers, who are eager to grow and give back to their communities.
