As a birthday gift for one of my close besties from another mother, me and a few friends decided the best thing we could do is to help her meet her goal for Top Surgery.
Words directly from her mouth:
"My depression partly stems from my body dismorphia.
I am trying to fight for top surgery at the moment and its so hard here if you dont have the money for it, this has been a fight for the last 10 years, told that i may be too young to do any breast removal, may change mind etc...the shit you get alot when Drs dont listen, i have gone through therapy, councilling and shit, gender clinic in london seem only to think that its one way or the other and dont seem to understand that some dont feel either? or both so yeah... i am not trying to figure out a way to fund top surgery, i know its not the fully depression quashing but i know in my heart that in doing so my self esteem will be alot higher. "
Because we, as her friends, do not want to watch her struggle anymore, I am opening up this gofund me so that she can have access to what she finally needs.
