Take Chips and Ice - Cream to the Camden Fringe

Friends!!

After several years of creation, iterations and performances - Chips and Ice-Cream is finally coming to Central London. I created this show whilst studying at Guildhall just before the pandemic hit and have put every inch of my self, my pennies and my passion into it.

The piece deals with a subject extremely close to my heart - child abuse in the working class, but don’t worry. I’m gonna make you laugh…

We follow Stevie, a young, working class father bringing up his son in the heart of Glasgow. The laughs, the love, the strength and passion this young man has is met with the volcano inside, borne from a world which has given him nothing and taken everything, waiting to erupt.

Chips and Ice-Cream is written about the father but it lives for the son.

The Camden Fringe is a crucial next step in the life of this show and for my work to be seen in central London after graduating during the pandemic.
