UPDATE:

Tammy’s Breast cancer unfortunately came back. We lost James March of this year to Lung Cancer. Mom passed away on September 16th. They passed within six months of each other. We are reopening this go fund me to help cover the costs that we were not prepared for. My mom got the news and within two weeks she was gone. As you can imagine we are heart broken and lost that they are both gone. I find peace knowing they are together again. We appreciate everything everyone has done for us. We couldn’t have gotten this far without the caring hearts of those we are surrounded by. Thank you ❤️

Hello!

Too start with I’m Chelsey and I’m writing this on behalf of my family. This is honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.

If you know our family then you know how much of a roller coaster the last couple years have been. My mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and she’s just about done with her journey. We received an unbelievable amount of support for her and honestly it helped so much. I cannot thank everyone enough who supported us.

Well the worst part is Cancer decided it wasn’t done with our family.

My step dad was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. It has spread from his lungs to his adrenal glands and his brain. We have been told it is very aggressive and treatment has to start right away.

If you know Jimmy, then you know he’s one of the hardest working individuals you’ll ever meet. Jimmy is a father of five and he constantly puts aside his own issues to help our family and friends. I’ve personally seen him face so many things that should break a man and he powered through to make sure his family had everything they needed. Now I’d like to do the same for him.

He stayed by my moms side through every chemo and radiation appointment and now she’s going to be doing the same. The day she was cleared, was the day he received the news of his new cancer diagnosis.

His first worry has been how to handle this and still go to work. Jimmy is a welder and it’s not a easy job to complete with the amount of weakness he is facing. He will be missing a lot of work while he battles this cancer and that’s why I chose to create this. Honestly it’s beyond difficult to ask for help in this way, but unfortunately Cancer doesn’t come at a discount. It seriously takes a village to get through these things I think.

On behalf of my entire family and step dad I want to personally thank you for whatever way you can help. ❤️
