My wife and I are reaching out during a very difficult and unexpected time.

I am Cristiam and I recently underwent emergency appendicitis surgery. What began as sudden, severe pain quickly turned into a life-saving operation that we could not delay.

Unfortunately, I don’t have health insurance. Even after receiving a reduction on the hospital bill, the remaining balance is still overwhelming and far beyond what we can afford, the current total is around $10,500 and on top of this, we have received a separate anesthesia bill of $2,700, and we were informed that another bill from pathology is still pending; these unexpected charges have added even more stress during an already difficult time.

I am currently in recovery and unable to work or contribute financially. At this moment, my wife is the only one working and trying to cover daily expenses while facing these medical bills has become extremely difficult.

We do not have family in this country—just the two of us—so we are facing this challenge alone. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean more than words can express.
