Hi everyone. My name is Sasha, and I'm fundraising for my brother Taj. On Tuesday, March 1st, my brother went to the ER after having severe stomach pain that over time got worse. While there, the doctors discovered his stomach was full of fluid and that it needed to be drained. He had a paracentesis performed, but he had to stay in the hospital to find out the underlying cause. Taj had imaging done that showed masses near his rectum, and after further testing, the doctors discovered that he had stage 4 rectal cancer.

This has been a devastating shock to our family, especially since he is only 36 years old. Taj is currently uninsured until April 1st but he will have to undergo surgery and chemo, as well as take many medications and have biweekly stomach drains for the foreseeable future. Any donations would go towards helping him pay for his procedures and medications.
