Tai's Travels Book 1

On 24.03.23 my life as "normal" stopped and my world was turned upside down. My beautiful boy took his last breath, leaving us on earth, and moved on to be our little angel, watching over us.

He was such a happy, smart, and healthy little man. There was no explanation as to why my little monkey boy got his wings that day.

Even after an autopsy, no cause of death was found ...

The final verdict: SIDS. Of all SIDS deaths (which are rare), 31% are due to unknown reasons. 90% occur up to 6 months of age and 80% happen during the night.

My baby passed away in the AFTERNOON, a day before being 10 MONTHS old.

Looking back at my memories with him, I think he knew he would leave us early. In many ways, he was very advanced and it feels like he wanted us to create countless memories with him, and celebrate him forever as he was - a beautiful soul.

That is why I have decided to keep his memory alive forever. To keep myself sane and productive, I wrote (and will keep writing) a collection of books, with my baby Tai as the main character.

In the books, Tai travels around the world, spreading love and joy everywhere he goes.

It is in his name that the books will be donated to different children's charities in the hope of enhancing their lives.

For the first book to be published, we need to self-publish it and fortunately, we have a wonderful publisher from Argentina who is willing to work with us (the expense of publishing is already covered by donations).

We hope that the book will be completed by the end of the year to participate in the Buenos Aires International Book Fair (Feria Internacional del Libro de Buenos Aires). It is held every April in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is one of the top five book expo’s in the world.

We are currently in the process of illustrations and this is where I need to ask for your help. Unfortunately, the investors who wanted to fund the illustrations have pulled out at the last moment.

We need to raise 1500 Euros for the illustration expenses. After that, it will take approximately 3 months for the book to be completed and published.

Any excess from donations will go towards future books. My aim is to have a minimum of 2 books published throughout each year.
