Good evening. My name is Tamara Rawls and I am trying to raise money to pay for my daughter Tainiyah Dorris' rehabilitation. She was admitted to Memorial Hospital on 7/16/25 with a cancerous brain tumor. She was transferred to Emory University Hospital on 7/22/25 and had the surgery to remove the brain tumor on 7/29/25. That surgery went well. The doctors removed 90% of the tumor. On 8/1/25, she became unresponsive and had to be rushed back into surgery for a brain bleed. She was placed on a ventilator, and we were told she had minimal brain activity and a poor chance at recovery. From Emory, she was transferred to a specialty hospital in Savannah, GA, where she has since been removed from the ventilator and is breathing on her own. She has Medicaid, which is paying her medical bills, but there are a lot of rehabilitation facilities that will not accept medicaid. We are asking for help to fund her rehab.
