My sister-in-law, Evelyn, lost the 2 most important people in her life...within the same week.

Tai Ping Lu was a single mother who raised her daughter (Evelyn) all by herself.

During a day at work, Evelyn's mother experienced an aneurysm. She fell into a coma and when she woke, she lost the ability to communicate and all motor functions.

Every day has been a battle. She would spend her day at work and several hours at the hospital trying to teach her mother basic words. When Evelyn's mother was finally able to point and say simple words like "I love you," they would experience a setback and go into emergency surgery.

This was her life for the past 5+ years.

Most recently, Evelyn received news that her grandmother had passed away. On the way back from attending the funeral, the hospital rang her and said her mother had died.

The 2 people who raised her are gone ... within the same week.
