Tahoe Swim Team

Please help us keep this 40-plus-year organization thriving! The Tahoe Swim Team is reaching out to our community and others to help support our parent-run swim team. The previous owner quit and withheld the equipment and team funding the parents had already paid for. Now the team is left to find the money for the pool fees, coaching, lifeguard fees, and the rest of the overhead for running the team from scratch. Money raised will secure pool time at the Recreation Center, replace team equipment, and pay swim coaches and lifeguards.

This team is a year-round, four days per week program, as well as a nonprofit organization that encourages children 5-18 years of age to have the opportunity to advance their swimming skills, sportsmanship, endurance, and teamwork in a competitive setting while benefiting their health and well-being. Many of these swimmers go on to swim on the Tahoe High School swim team. Many also swim in college, become lifeguards, and teach swimming within our community.
