It’s eight o’clock in the evening and your beloved family dog wanders away. Everyone in the family searches in a panic, but there’s no sign. Hours pass by and the search seems futile.

In the last 24 hours Wendy Jones and her volunteers have returned six lost dogs to their owners. For years, Tahoe PAWS has employed the latest professional techniques and technologies to perform miracles to find pets against all odds.

Twenty-four-seven, Wendy and her volunteers monitor their network of trail cameras and humane traps, strategically located in the Truckee Meadows and Lake Tahoe. When your pet goes missing, they respond.

Tahoe PAWS has no public funding and relies on their volunteers and occasional donations from missing dogs owners. There is critical need to fund additional technology and the costs of searches and rescues.
