My mom was one of the most kind and selfless women you would have ever met. She was always putting the needs and wants of others above her own. She’d spend less on herself so she could give to others, she’d offer her services whenever needed, and was all around just the absolute embodiment of kindness. She showed me what it truly meant to care about others. What it meant to be kind and gentle and what it meant to love.

In honour of her memory, we are raising funds to help build a water well in an impoverished place in Pakistan, (her birth country). This will help to keep her spirit alive on this earth and to provide a lasting gift of water to people who otherwise had no access to it. She would have loved this project were she still with us. The least we could do is to honour her in building this well.

Our goal is to raise $5000.00 to fund the construction of the well. Every dollar will be spent towards this cause, allowing us to honour my mom in a way she would deem fit.

If you knew my mother, you would know how happy this would make her. As long as I can remember, she pushed us to donate to the needy, to save anything we could and to send it to the less fortunate. She was a simple woman. She was very kind. May Allah give us and everyone who donates to this cause Barakah in this life and the hereafter.
