Taekwondo World Championships in Kazakhstan 2023

Khyan is a local 17 yr old student, who is in year 12 and the Headboy at Nagle. Khyan is a very sports focused young man, who is very passionate about the sports he plays and gives it his absolute best each and every time.

Khyan has been selected to represent Australia at the ITF Taekwondo World Championships in Kazakhstan in August.

Khyan has been passionate about Taekwondo since he started at the age of 11. He has competed in numerous local and Perth club tournaments, medalling in all his events at each tournament.

Khyan has also competed in a 4 State Championships and 2 National Championships, where he came home with Gold medals for each event, at each tournament he competed in.

He then turned his focus to the World Championships but covid prevented him from being able to attend the World Championships for the past few years. Now he has been selected for the Australian Team and is a step away from making his dream/ goal of competing at a World Championships a reality.
