Tad Morrison Memorial Fundraiser

Dear friends and family,

It is with great sadness the family of Tad Morrison shares that he unexpectedly passed the evening of Sunday, March 19th, 2023. Tad has dealt with epilepsy since he was a child. The morning of Valentine's Day he had a massive grand mal seizure. Unfortunately, he broke both of his shoulders which led to surgery. Three weeks after the surgery he had a pulmonary embolism that went to his lung.

We want to bring Awareness to Epilepsy due to the impact it had on Tad's life and his family.

*Tad was a donate for life member through the IowaDonorNetwork.org *

Tad has left this imperfect world of ours, a little more imperfect.

Our hearts ache for Tad, Amber, their son Steven and daughter Kaliana and Tad's endless circle of family and friends who will never be the same. Not just because Tad's infectious laugh sounds a little quieter now, but because he left them with so much love, so many lessons, and endless smiles. Tad had one of the best work ethics we have ever seen to provide for his family. He was one of the most thoughtful and giving humans. Bantering with Amber in the funniest and sweetest way and loving his 2 children. As well as his extended family and friends. Tad and Amber had that unique kind of love that kept them both grounded and could stand the test of time, he was her rock ❤️ This loss has left a hole in the hearts of his family and friends that can never be filled. We can all help make it feel a little less empty by keeping his memory alive and celebrating him every chance we get. Tad, you are already so very missed beyond measure. We love you.

A Prominent member of the cycling community for over 15 years, Tad rode for many charitable benefits. As we all know he was a Minnesota Vikings football fanatic and Counting Crows was his favorite band. He was also a food connoisseur. His greatest pleasure was creating new and exciting flavors for his family's meals. And sharing his new food creations with those he loved.

Tad was an organ donor. The last thing he was able to do was to give the gift of life through organ donation. We feel this is an important subject to bring to light. Please consider organ donation.

You can imagine the tremendous amount of financial burden Amber has suddenly been faced with as a result of losing her life partner and children's father. So, please join us in rallying around her and the children by contributing your support towards the financial hardships that this has been placed on them in this difficult time. No donation is too big or small, and anything helps. We thank you in advance for your generosity. ❤️

Your donations will be going directly to Amber and family. She plans to use donations to pay for any funeral costs, rent, utilities, healthcare, missed income. And of course, most important anything at all the children need. This financial help allows her to focus on grieving in the coming months to make sure she and the children have access to the professional help they may need. And any help they need to get through this enormous loss that they are facing. Life will never be the same for them, but all of this allows them time to work through what is next without worrying how they will pay their bills as other means of long-term support works its way out.

It’s times like this that remind us all how truly precious life is. From today on, when life feels unfair, impossible, or hard, remember that even on the darkest days, it is still truly a blessing to be in it. Hug your loved ones, be present with them, spoil them, and live for Tad. Pray for this special family and send all of the healing and comfort their way ❤️
