Help Stacy Neils in her battle against Leukemia.
Please help us give care to this incredible caregiver. Our dear friend Stacy, who has helped so many others, is in need of our help BIG TIME! And she needs that help now.
Out of the blue she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with complications. Bam! She was immediately hospitalized and started on continuous chemo. Due to the aggressive nature of this cancer she is in a treatment program combining chemo with special drugs from a clinical trial designed to fight the leukemia and eradicate her complications.
She will be focused on healing for the next few months and not able to work. Your help is so important to keep her attention where it belongs; on recovery.
About Stacy:
Stacy Neils is, among other things, a professional Caregiver. This comes easily to her because she is the first to jump up and say “I’ve got this” or “I’ll take care of it”. Her magnetic energy is awe inspiring. Her work is meticulous. Her work ethic is incomparable. She is always on time and is the most loyal person anyone could ever count on! So it is no wonder that she has cared for those who need assistance in their daily lives. Her energy infuses all the work she does and she is skilled in visual merchandising and has worked in retail and beauty as well.
This beautiful woman has incredible strength even though her stature is diminutive. She can lift anything and once single-handedly painted the outside of an entire house by simply crawling all over it from one little ladder! Stacy gets all this work done with a crazy sense of humor bringing laughter to almost everyone she meets. And within her tough energy force lays a heart of gold. She is always there for her friends and is generous with each one. Stacy’s endless energy far exceeds most others and that is why it is so difficult to see her laid abed in the fight of her life. This energizer-bunny of a human now needs us to energize on her behalf.
She is getting great care, but medical costs keep mounting. And keeping up her house payments while hospitalized will be daunting. She will need her home in which to recover. Convalescence and next steps will no doubt take months. It may be months before she can return to work. Her family and loved ones have rallied around her. Her parents have passed, but she has a loving brother, Todd, and his family along with a small extended family. Her needs right now are beyond what family and loved ones can provide. They need our help too!
If you know Stacy, you know she cringes at asking for anything, so it is with much humility and gratitude that she allows us to ask for help from everyone and anyone who can assist with this financial health crisis.
